When organisations face critical heating challenges, whether from planned maintenance, unexpected HVAC failures, or seasonal demand spikes, they need solutions they can deploy quickly and trust completely. That’s where Rapid Energy come in.
To strengthen our ability to support essential operations, we’ve expanded our boiler hire fleet with new high-capacity 1.5MW and 2MW packaged boilers. Designed for rapid deployment, fuel efficiency, and exceptional acoustic performance, these units provide powerful and dependable temporary heating for some of the most demanding environments.

What Sets Our New Boilers Apart
Built-In Redundancy
Our new packaged boilers are engineered to provide continuous, reliable heat when operations cannot afford downtime. With built-in N+1 redundancy, the systems ensure uninterrupted heating supply even if one burner is offline.
This level of resilience makes them particularly well suited for:
- District heating networks
- Hospitals and healthcare facilities
- Government and public sector sites
- Manufacturing and industrial operations
- Construction projects and temporary facilities
For organisations where heat is essential to safety, compliance, or productivity, peace of mind is non-negotiable.

Dual-Fuel Flexibility
One of the major advantages of these new units is their dual-fuel capability, allowing them to run on both oil and gas.
This provides significant operational flexibility:
- Rapid deployment using oil where gas connections are not immediately available
- Planned transition to gas once infrastructure is in place
- Greater resilience in locations with changing fuel availability
The boilers utilise Unical boilers paired with high-performance Baltur burners, delivering proven reliability and precise control over heat output.
Optimised Fuel Efficiency
Efficiency is critical for long-term heating hire projects, particularly for district heating networks and large commercial sites.
Our new boilers feature modulating burners that can reduce output to as low as 200kW during periods of lower demand. This means:
- Reduced fuel consumption
- Lower operating costs
- More stable system performance
By matching heat production to actual demand, these boilers help clients maintain efficient operations while keeping energy usage under control.
Industry-Leading Acoustic Performance
For many sites, such as hospitals, urban sites, and public sector facilities, noise levels can be just as important as heating performance.
These new packaged boilers deliver a significant advantage in this area, operating up to 10 dBA quieter than comparable competitor units.
This improved acoustic performance is achieved through several key design features:
- Highly insulated Unical boiler chambers
- Twin-insulated flue systems rather than single-skin flues
- Modulating burners, which operate more quietly at lower loads
For particularly noise-sensitive environments, optional acoustic panels can reduce sound levels by a further ~15%, making these units one of the quietest solutions available in the temporary boiler hire market.

Strengthening Rapid Energy’s Temperature Control Fleet
These new boilers represent a significant investment in our mission to deliver fast, dependable, and expertly engineered heating rental solutions for commercial and industrial environments.
Whether supporting district heating networks on long-term projects or providing critical backup heating for hospitals and essential services, this new equipment ensures Rapid Energy can continue to respond when our clients need us most.
Because when temperature control is critical, failure simply isn’t an option.
