Please join us in welcoming Matt Stapley AMInstR, who joins Rapid Energy as our new Technical Director.
With over 30 years of experience in the HVAC hire industry, including senior technical roles at industry-renowned brands, Matt brings a wealth of expertise, innovation and leadership to the business.
A Proven Leader in HVAC Technical Excellence
Matt has led technical sales support teams, managed complex HVAC installations across Europe, and driven R&D projects focused on energy-efficient systems using advanced refrigerants, low-consumption fuels and solar technologies.
He has also played a key role in launching new products, conducting quality control audits and maintaining compliance with industry standards. In addition, he is a skilled trainer and technical author, having produced a wide range of product literature, how-to guides and instructional videos to support both internal teams and customers.
Some of his qualifications include:
- BTEC in Electrical & Mechanical Engineering
- F-Gas certification
- City & Guilds in Electronics
- Gas Safe certification
- ILM Level 5 in Leadership & Management
