As part of that commitment, two of our engineers, Dan and Mark, recently completed an intensive burner training course in Bologna, Italy, hosted by EOGB at the internationally respected Baltur training facility.
Training Programme
The four-day-long course focused on commercial burner systems ranging from 50–2000 kW, covering gas, oil, and dual-fuel systems. The training combined in-depth technical instruction with hands-on experience using industry-standard components from leading manufacturers such as Dungs, Siemens, Kromschroder, and Lamtec.
Key topics included:
- Commissioning procedures
- Gas valve setup and adjustment
- Modulating controls & burner matching
- Gas rating and optimisation
- Fault finding and diagnostics
- Oil burner setup and nozzle selection
- Dual-fuel system configuration
