At Rapid Energy, innovation powers our solutions, and people power our success. We’re proud to have built a culture of teamwork, trust, and ongoing professional development.
Sales Executive Hannah Bootes shares her experience of working at Rapid Energy, from day-to-day challenges to some of her most rewarding moments on the job. Having worked for the company for over two years, Hannah has had the opportunity to grow alongside the business, evolving both personally and professionally as Rapid Energy continues to expand.

What do you enjoy most about working at Rapid Energy?
“100% the people, I’ve built friendships with people that will last forever so for that I’m forever grateful. You also get a real sense of reliability with your peers and trust them to help you get the job finished.”
What does a day-to-day look like for you?
“Depending on whether we’re in peak summer or winter months, it varies; we are usually super reactive taking inbound enquiries, answering calls, responding to emails and setting up new accounts. During the mild weather months like March, it is usually heavily outbound focused so we’ll be creating new business opportunities and getting Rapid Energy’s name out there to companies who may need us for planned or reactive works in the future and booking meetings with externals.”
What’s the most rewarding job you’ve worked on?
“One of the most rewarding projects I worked on was for Flipper’s Roller Boogie Palace. It was an exciting and fun job where I had the opportunity to visit the site, survey the space, and ensure they had the right cooling in place for their events during peak summer. The team at Flipper’s was fantastic, and knowing we helped create a comfortable environment for their guests to enjoy roller skating without melting was great! It was lovely to be part of such a lively and unique project!”
Can you describe a challenging project you worked on?
“A standout project was supplying 30 electric boilers to dry screed across multiple buildings and floors on a large London construction site. Everything had to run off one generator, which made power management a real challenge- but we delivered on time and helped keep the project moving.”
How does Rapid Energy support your professional growth and development?
“Rapid Energy is great at exposing us to new opportunities and career progression. Since I joined, I’ve been pushed out of my comfort zone in the best way- whether that’s taking on bigger responsibilities, getting involved in more complex projects, or having the chance to meet clients face-to-face. I’m definitely not the same person I was when I started!”
Can you share a time when you went above and beyond to meet a client’s needs?
“Multiple come to mind, but one that stands out is when a client faced a freezer failure on a Friday afternoon, risking a large amount of food from being ruined. We arranged a Saturday morning delivery to prevent any spoilage. The client we work with manages the building, and their customer was over the moon with the quick turnaround.”
How does Rapid Energy maintain strong client relationships throughout a project?
“We ensure clear and consistent communication from start to finish, actively seeking feedback to improve our service and always aiming to deliver a 5-star experience.”
What is the most fulfilling part of your role?
“The most fulfilling part is simply helping people. It’s incredibly rewarding to hear how grateful clients are when we provide the right solutions to cool their offices or warm up a space, knowing we’ve made a real difference to their comfort and productivity.”
