On the 10th September, members of the Rapid Energy team will be participating in the London to Brighton cycle. We’re raising money for a special charity called Help for Heroes! We’ve set a modest target of £3,000 and we need all the support we can get to help us achieve this target.
Furthermore, the Directors at Rapid Energy have agreed to match the amount raised, up to £3,000.

About Help for Heroes
Help for Heroes is a well-known charity organisation based in the United Kingdom. It was founded in 2007 with the primary aim of providing support and assistance to wounded, injured, and sick veterans and serving military personnel. The organisation focuses on helping those who have suffered physical or psychological injuries while serving in the armed forces.
Help for Heroes operates various programs and initiatives to address the specific needs of veterans and military personnel. One of their key initiatives involves the provision of direct grants to support individuals in their recovery journeys, including funding for specialist medical treatments, rehabilitation programs, and adaptive sports equipment.
The charity also runs four recovery centres across the UK, where beneficiaries can access comprehensive support services, such as physical and psychological therapy, welfare advice, vocational training, and social activities. These centres serve as vital hubs for veterans to receive personalised care and connect with others who have faced similar challenges.
Additionally, Help for Heroes recognises the importance of ongoing support beyond the initial recovery period. They offer career recovery support, assisting individuals in developing new skills, finding employment opportunities, and transitioning into civilian life successfully. This helps veterans regain their independence and rebuild their lives beyond their military careers.
Fundraising plays a crucial role in the organisation’s operations. Help for Heroes relies on the generosity of the public, corporate partnerships, and community events to fund its programs and activities. People can contribute through donations, participating in fundraising events, or volunteering their time and expertise.
Overall, Help for Heroes is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of wounded veterans and serving military personnel. By providing practical assistance, emotional support, and opportunities for personal growth, the charity helps individuals overcome their physical and psychological challenges, empowering them to lead fulfilling lives after their service to the nation.
